Being in my kitchen is kind of post-grad school stress disorder therapy for me.
I've always loved traveling and languages and learning about how people far away--and not so far away--live their lives. To me, being an adventurer and a traveler is the best way to become a true citizen of the world, and in my opinion, there's no better way to learn from others than to try their food.
But then, I also just really like food.
So, until my wallet is fat enough for me to travel abroad again, I'm exploring world cultures through their cuisines, right here in my little kitchen in Springfield, IL. So join me as I cook my way around the world!
